De Cicco Broccoli is my go-to broccoli variety because here in zone 8a it loves both the cold and the warm temperatures. The colder it is the sweeter they are, but De Cicco Broccoli is still delicious even when grown in the shade during the summer months. Grows one medium size head and many smaller shoots on the sides - perfect for those who can't decide between typical broccoli or broccolini!
