If you're looking for a showstopper native perennial that will make the neighbors rethink their freshly mowed non-native lawn, then adding Lanceleaf Coreopsis is definitely your best bet. Coreopsis can be found anywhere in North and South America, but the Lanceleaf variety is native to the Southeastern and Midwest United States.
