Luffa grows as both a culinary vegetable and natural sponge. Young fruits are tender for cooking; slice, sauté, or add luffa to stir-fries for a mild, slightly sweet flavor. Allow mature fruits to dry on the vine for a durable, eco-friendly cleaning sponge perfect for kitchen and bath. One plant produces abundantly throughout the season.
